Prologue Day 6

San Francisco - Last day of the prologue

Have you ever had one of those days where nothing works right the first time and everthing takes longer than it should due to forces out of your control?

After breakfast, I called down to the vallet to get our car, only to show up and have to tell the guy at the front door that I wanted my car. Whoever answered my phone call forgot to tell him. I drove to Pleasanton to get the second shot of my Hep A&B vaccination. I know how to get to Pleasanton, but not to the travel clininc, so I used the GPS in our rental car and it tried to take me the wrong way on the freeway. It really does have left/right issues.

Everything went well at the travel clinic. My shoulder hurts, but I'm sure it's better than hepatitis.

Shannon had some meetings in the afternoon, so I hung out in the hotel and went to the gym. It's a lot easier at sea level. In the evening we went out to dinner with Carmalyn and Ethan and then back to the hotel to pack up and head for the airport.
