Sydney - Hong Kong
This time our flight worked. We arrived in Hong Kong around three in the afternoon, checked into the Marriott (thank you points), changed and went exploring. We went to a night market on the Kowloon side where Shannon engaged in a little retail therapy. For dinner we went to the Jumbo Floating Palace restaurant. It is exactly what it sounds like. It is on a massive ship, seats about 3000 and feeds you. I have no idea what we had for dinner, but it was really good. I could tell we were in China because we had 6 servers all to ourselves and the table mistress (my name for her, probably not her official title - we couldn't afford that restaurant) who hovered over us the entire meal. Every time I took a sip of water, she would call the water boy over to fill up my glass.
We were both so exhausted that all we did after dinner was head back to the hotel to crash.
