We're off again.

This time Shannon and I are going to South America. We are flying in to La Paz, Bolivia and flying out of Buenos Aires three weeks later. We plan to see Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Buenos Aires, but South America is where the best laid plans of gringos go to die, so we'll see what happens.

Right now we are packing furiously and trying to decide what we will really need. A wise man once told me to bring half the clothes and twice the money. Unfortunately, I don't have twice the money, so we'll see how that goes.

We are traveling with Carmalyn, a friend of ours from California. At least until she gets fed up with me and takes off on her own. It should be a lot of fun and i might even be able to convince her to help write a few of these.

We leave on Saturday and I'll do my best to post at least semi-regularly. We'll see what internet facilities are like in rural areas.
