Boulder
Today was spent running around, eventually. First I slept in and then Star Wars was on tv, so it took a while before I got going. There is a reason I don't have a television in my bedroom at home.
First I looked up a few houses to visit to maybe find us a place to live once we are settled in Boulder permanently. Mostly I left messages. Then I took the car to get a tire fixed. Somewhere on our journey we had developed a slow leak in the left front tire, so every time we stopped for gas, we had to make sure the tire was good. I also had a long chat about whether we needed snow tires or could get away with all season tires. Apparently I can get away with expensive all season tires, but as I discovered later, driving with California racing tires is not much fun in snow.
After a few more stops for last minute things we need for our trip, I came back to the hotel and hit the gym. Working out at altitude is hard. Since it was getting colder and starting to snow, I went and picked Shannon up at work and we went out to dinner at a fabulous tapas bar.
Tomorrow I get to visit houses.
