Boulder to San Francisco
I woke up this morning to the real estate agents' phone calls. One showing was cancelled and the one at 11:15 was now at 10:15. So I looked at a very nice blue house (with an invisible garage) that was, unfortunately, a ways out of town. All I want is a spacious house with a spectacular yard, near downtown for cheap. (I know, I know, but I can dream can't I?)
There were flurries all day. They were very beautiful, but it occurred to me that I should probably try to remember how to drive in snow. It may come in handy here.
I did some running around and went back to the hotel to wait for Shannon to finish work. The altitude is still my nemesis at the gym. I need an oxygen tank just to program the treadmill.
When Shannon finished work, I checked out and went to pick her up. We drove out to the middle of nowhere to drop off our car. They had about three inches of snow (see previous posts about California racing tires and remembering how to drive in snow). It wasn't pretty, but I got us there without any mishaps. Then we got a ride to the airport and flew to SFO.
Once we got out of Denver airport (when it was snowing), I thought our troubles were over. However... two little incidents made our lives interesting (annoying). Firstly, the GPS in our rental car doesn't know right from left. Shannon and I both heard it say keep left, when we wanted to go right. We thought we were just tired, but it has since done that a couple of times. And when we eventually got to our hotel, they gave us a room with no bed. It was set up as a reception room, with lots of comfy chairs, but we really wanted to sleep. This may be subjective because I really, really wanted to sleep, but it seemed to take a long time to convince them that there was no bed in our room and then to get us into another one.
Ben go sleep now.

Where do you get the energy? Thanks again for the great time in CA. Now that I know about this, I will check regularly
